Monthly fees are based on an annual tuition amount per class that has been broken down into equal monthly instalments and are NOT based on the number of classes per month. Tuition instalments are due on the 1st of the month, each month, from September to June, inclusive.

Tuition is due on or before the 1st of every month; any payments made after the 3rd of the month will be subject to a $25.00 late fee. This includes cheques that come back NSF and declined credit card payments for any reason, including expired cards.

IMPORTANT RECITAL INFORMATION

• All of our wonderful dancers age 4 and older participate in our year end recitals, which is the practice of most dance studios. Our year end performances are very exciting and rewarding for all of our dancers and everyone involved. It is our big opportunity to celebrate as a Studio a wonderful year of dance, as well as a chance for our dancers to showcase all of their hard work over the dance season to their family and friends! This is a ticketed event.

• An entire season of planning goes into our year end recital. Our talented faculty, administration staff, classroom assistants, parent volunteers, FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton theatre staff, and costumes designers all work very hard to create a rewarding and successful experience for your child.

• A costume is required for each dancer for this event. The cost of your dancer’s recital costume is $100/per costume and is charged on the 15th of January, 2025. Planning for recital music choices and costume designs for the year end recital begins as soon as registration is finalized in September; therefore, costume payments are non-refundable.

• Students begin learning their recital routines early in the New Year. It is your student’s responsibility to attend class regularly and to be well rehearsed with their classmates. Students with numerous absences may not be allowed to participate in the recital.

• Every class participates in our year end recital over two evenings except for our Baby Ballet dancers who have their own private recital at the Studio at the end of their session. We do encourage our Baby Ballet families to come to our full studio recital to see the great opportunities in dance available to young students who continue to dance!

• Recital Tickets go on sale in May. Exact date TBA ~ Stay Tuned! Recital Tickets are sold by the FirstOntario Arts Centre Milton Box Office. Adult ticket prices are approximately $40.00.

• Costumes arrive to the studio in late spring. Your dancer’s recital costume will be available to wear on Picture Day at the Studio. Your costume will not be released if your tuition account is not in good standing. Picture Day details and schedule will be emailed home in the early spring.

• Recital Costumes will not go home with your dancers on Picture Day. Dancers will have their recital costumes retuned to them on the evening of our Dress Rehearsal.

• Dress Rehearsal takes place at the Studio prior to our recital performances. This is a very important event for your dancer as well as for the faculty running the show. Attendance is mandatory. Dancers are to be in full costume, including assigned hairstyle, class uniform tights and shoes.

• Parent Volunteers play a very important role in the success of our shows! We rely on assistance from parents from our Mini, Junior and Intermediate division dancers to help supervise activities as well as costume changes for our youngest performers. It is very much appreciated to if you can volunteer to help out on the night you are not watching the show.

• For the safety of our dancers, videotaping and picture taking is strictly prohibited during our recital performances. Don’t worry we have taken care of that for you! The recital performance will be professionally recorded for you! The cost of this recording is included in your monthly tuition payments.
